Owner
Steph Peters, PsyD is the owner and principal consultant of Product Clinical, a strategic advisory firm specializing in the development, implementation, and optimization of clinical products and solutions in startup environments. With 15 years of experience in healthcare design, behavioral health, participatory research and building startups, Steph has a proven track record of driving innovation and delivering impactful outcomes for clients, health systems, and startups.
At Product Clinical, Steph blends expertise in clinical practice, product development, and user-centered design to help organizations transform their ideas into scalable, evidence-based solutions. By combining design thinking, implementation science, and market insights, Steph ensures that products not only meet regulatory and clinical standards but also address real-world user needs effectively.
Previously, Steph held roles such as founder at WellRoo, Behavioral Medicine Director at Carium, and VP Behavioral Health at Clarity Pediatrics, where she led initiatives that expanded services offered and improved patient outcomes in 0 to 1 settings. She is also known for integrating behavioral science and behavioral health to create high impact clinical products with excellent NPS quickly.
In addition to her work at Product Clinical, Steph currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Stanford’s Clinical Excellence Research Center, where she focuses on teaching clinicians about entrepreneurship and high-value care design.
Committed to cultivating partnerships that make a meaningful difference, Steph works closely with care providers, product developers, and patients to drive sustainable impact in areas like mental health, digital therapeutics, medication adherence and pediatrics.
Steph holds a doctorate from PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium and is passionate about mentoring the next generation of clinicians and healthcare designers, as well as serving the local community on O‘ahu.
